The 2021 vintage will have spared no winegrower in France, even if in Beauvence our altitude means later budburst, so the ravages of the Spring 2021 frost were less keenly felt. The weather was rather indulgent during the summer: warm and dry, the season enabled us to escape powdery mildew and downy mildew, leaving the vines in a very healthy state for the harvest, which was brought forward to the end of September, earlier than we would have liked, but climatic conditions were deteriorating and we had to act. In spite of everything, we managed to obtain some very nice juices, enabling us to make some great wines.
