The syrah in all its splendor: 99% syrah, aop obliges, for a wine nectar: peppery, candied black fruits, a small cuvée of 690 bottles only, the 1st of its kind in Beauvence for the most demanding amateurs. To drink from 2023 but with 5 more years, it would be even better!
The 2021 vintage was marked by a rather dramatic drought in France that has not spared the Luberon even if in Beauvence, our altitude of 400m allows us to enjoy a freshness, all relative, at night. This allowed us to escape from powdery mildew but a hailstorm on August 15 ravaged our vineyard, causing us to lose 30% of our harvest; fortunately, drought and mistral have "dried" our vines allowing us to develop our wines.
